Bombay Bhaag is a free browser game set on the Mumbai suburban railway. You sprint down the running lines at golden hour, dodging parked rakes, ducking under catenary gantries and vaulting sleeper stacks, collecting ₹ coins while a railway constable in khaki closes in behind you. Every run is scored, and every run can go on a global leaderboard.
It runs entirely in the browser on desktop and on phones — there is nothing to install, and every texture, model and sound in it is generated in code rather than downloaded.

Tips for a longer run
- Watch the colour of what is ahead: obstacles you must jump and obstacles you must roll under are colour-coded and chevroned, so you can read the right input before you are on top of them.
- The middle line is not safer. A parked rake can close it for a long stretch, and being stuck on the wrong side of one is what ends most runs.
- Coins are worth taking, but never take a coin you have to cross two lines for.
- Difficulty ramps with distance, not time — the opening is deliberately gentle so you can learn the controls before anything can catch you out.

About the setting
The corridor is modelled on the Mumbai suburban railway — the "locals" that carry millions of people a day between Churchgate, Andheri, Borivali and Virar. The rakes wear the maroon-and-yellow livery, the trackside is ballast, sleepers, signal gantries and boundary walls rather than shopfronts, and the platforms are either empty or packed with people, which is how they actually are. The chase is a railway constable in khaki, the uniform Mumbai Police and railway staff wear.
